Baby Size: 9 inches, 1.7 pounds (Eggplant)
Total Weight Gain: Total of 12 pounds! It was a miracle when I stepped on the
scale today at the doctor’s office and the nurse said “you gained 3 pounds in 4
weeks, good for you!” I almost fell over because I’ve been eating like crazy.
Maternity Clothes? Oh yes. There are still plenty of my pre-preggo shirts that
I can wear, but only with my maternity tanks underneath. But pants are all
maternity and I forsee lots of dresses in my future.
Stretch Marks? Nope.
Sleep: Lately I feel like it’s the first 8 weeks of pregnancy
again. I nap as soon as I come home and go to bed around 8:30, I’m that tired,
no exhausted. Unfortunately, I’m waking up at least 4 times a night, for no
good reason. Either a nightmare (lots of those lately) or I just wake up. So
the quality of sleep has been terrible.
Best moment this week: The doctor appointment today. I’ve been having a million
concerns about Little L’s lack of movement. I really don’t feel much at all. So
the doctor did an ultrasound and I got to see that she’s moving and is
perfectly fine. The anterior placenta is completely blocking her, so that’s why
I don’t feel much. It made me feel so much better to see her moving around. Also,
the pedicure I got on Friday…desparately needed.
Miss Anything? Coke, cold turkey lunchmeat, queso from the Mexican
restaurant down the road.
Movement: very tiny tingles, but nothing
strong yet.
Food Cravings: whole fruit bars. I’ve probably been eating at least two a
day for the last week.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Having an empty stomach. It’s gross. And the
heartburn…seriously, it’s every day, pretty much any time after 3pm.
Gender: Hoping she’s still a girl ;)
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly button in or out? Innie
Wedding rings on or off? On, but getting tighter this week. I’m pretty sure I’m not
going to make it the whole time.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy!
Looking forward to: Finally getting the nursery painted (I think I picked a
color!)
