Let's try this again...

So I definitely said I was going to try to blog about our lives so that our families could keep up with us, but alas, I have not. I am going to start however, since I'm finding it necessary to have a place to "talk". I'm far from my friends and family and Mr. L is very very busy, so I think this will be a nice place to just talk about things that are on my mind and/or things that I think will be interesting to anyone who might be reading this. I make no promises about how often I'll do this, but hopefully someone will read it :)
