BUMPdate - 31 WEEKS

Yes, another dress! It was 90 degrees!

How Far Along: 31 weeks. 9 to go! That’s a single digit! I can’t believe there’s only 9 more weeks left!
Baby Size: 19 inches, 3.9 pounds (Head of Lettuce – didn’t change this week)
Total Weight Gain: At the last appointment, I had gained 19 pounds. Let's hope I haven't gained too much more since then.
Maternity Clothes? Pretty much all maternity at this point. My tshirts, yoga pants, and gym shorts still fit (awkwardly), but pants/shorts and everything else are maternity. Most of my regular shirts are no longer working. I’ve moved on to maxi dresses due to the heat.
Stretch Marks? Nope.
Sleep: Always tired. I still try to nap once a day, and I’m in bed by 9:30.
Best moment this week: Finishing our registry. Despite the actual amount of money we spent (we’re lucky we can afford FOOD after that trip), it’s so nice to have everything in her room and know we are good to go. Now I just have to wash everything.
Miss Anything? Coke, cold turkey lunchmeat, queso from the Mexican restaurant down the road. This week I also miss bending over, getting off the couch and out of bed like a normal person, and being able to make it through a movie without taking a break to pee or move my legs.
Movement: She’s really active in the morning and when I lay down at night. During the day it all depends on what I’m doing.
Food Cravings: Frozen drinks (like slurpees, icee’s, frozen pink lemonade from taco bell)…honestly, I could have a frozen drink with every meal. Also yogurt, regular lemonade and that’s it. I’m hungry, but not craving anything in particular.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Having an empty stomach and heartburn…the heartburn has gotten outrageous. Tums are now my new best friend.
Gender: Hoping she’s still a girl ;)
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly button in or out? Innie, but SO shallow. I think it’s going to be an outie any day now.
Wedding rings on or off? Off L Makes me sad.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy!
Looking forward to: Relaxing a bit! No more showers, trips or events planned for us until her due date so we have two months to just hang out J

BUMPdate - 30 WEEKS

I've run out of clothes! I'm actually wearing a dress to work!

How Far Along: 30 weeks. 10 to go!
Baby Size: 18 inches, 3.2 pounds (Head of Lettuce)
Total Weight Gain: Still 19 pounds. No weight gain over the last two weeks!
Maternity Clothes? Pretty much all maternity at this point. My tshirts, yoga pants, gym shorts, and any extra long pre-preggo shirts still fit, but pants/shorts and everything else are maternity. Most of my regular shirts are no longer working.
Stretch Marks? Nope.
Sleep: Still pretty exhausted. A nap is necessary at least once a day and if I don’t get it, I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck!
Best moment this week: Little L’s family baby shower! My whole family, plus a few of hubby’s and three very close friends made the trip to Delaware to celebrate Little L. It was awesome.
Miss Anything? Coke, cold turkey lunchmeat, queso from the Mexican restaurant down the road.
Movement: She’s awake and moving when I wake up and between 5 and 7pm on most days. Other than that, I get a few nudges here and there, just enough to let me know she’s ok.

Labor Signs: Nope
Belly button in or out? Innie, but SO shallow. I think it’s going to be an outie any day now.
Wedding rings on or off? Off L Makes me sad.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy!
Looking forward to: Finishing up our registries, organizing L’s room, and finishing some projects in the house as we count down the weeks….

BUMPdate - 29 WEEKS

How Far Along: 29 weeks. 11 to go!
Baby Size: 17 inches, 3.1 pounds (Butternut Squash)
Total Weight Gain: I’m up 19 total pounds so far. The doctor says that is fine and there’s no need to worry that I gained 7 of those pounds last month…yikes!
Maternity Clothes? Pretty much all maternity at this point. My tshirts, yoga pants, gym shorts, and any extra long pre-preggo shirts still fit, but pants/shorts and everything else are maternity. Most of my regular shirts are no longer working.
Stretch Marks? Nope.
Sleep: Still really tired. I need to nap at least once a day or I fall asleep on the couch around 8pm. And even with the nap I only make it until 9:30.
Best moment this week: My husband came home!! It’s been 2 months without him and even though he leaves a lot, these 2 months were the longest yet. When he left, I barely had a bump. Now, I look like I’m ready to go any day!
Food Cravings: Frozen drinks (like slurpees, icee’s, frozen pink lemonade from taco bell)…honestly, I could have a frozen drink with every meal. Also yogurt, regular lemonade and that’s it. I’m hungry, but not craving anything in particular.

Gender: Hoping she’s still a girl ;)
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly button in or out? Innie, but I don’t think that will be lasting much longer.
Wedding rings on or off? Still the wedding band, though that’s getting a little snug.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy!
Looking forward to: Little L’s baby shower this weekend! I get to see my family and hubby’s family too!

BUMPdate - 28 WEEKS

How Far Along: 28 weeks. 12 to go!
Baby Size: 17 inches, 2.9 pounds (I missed the food comparison this week!)
Total Weight Gain: No clue, but I’m sure it’s more than the recommended amount.
Maternity Clothes? Pretty much all maternity at this point. My tshirts, yoga pants, gym shorts, and any extra long pre-preggo shirts still fit, but pants/shorts and everything else are maternity. Most of my regular shirts are no longer working.
Stretch Marks? Nope.
Sleep: I’m exhausted. Not sure if that’s because it’s the 3rd trimester or if because my quality of sleep at night is terrible. Probably both. But I have to nap at least once a day to make it to 9pm.
Best moment this week: Feeling Little L move from the outside! She finally gave me a swift kick that I could see and then lots of movement all over my stomach. Really weird, but great at the same time.
Miss Anything? Coke, cold turkey lunchmeat, queso from the Mexican restaurant down the road.
Movement: She’s pretty active now, thank goodness!
Food Cravings: Frozen drinks (like slurpees, icee’s, frozen pink lemonade from taco bell), any kind of lemonade actually, yogurt, and candy.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Having an empty stomach and heartburn…the heartburn has gotten outrageous. Tums are now my new best friend.
Gender: Hoping she’s still a girl ;)
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly button in or out? Innie, but getting much more shallow!
Wedding rings on or off? Just my wedding band today…it’s larger than my engagement ring and for now, it’s the only one that fits without turning my finger bright red.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy!
Looking forward to: My husband finally returning home in a few days. Woohoo!

Lily Sunday

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY LILY!

Can't believe it's been 3.5 years that this little lady has been with us. It's almost impossible to remember life without her in our home.
