HALO Sleepsack Wearable Blanket and Aden + Anais Muslin Small Sleeping Bag Once H was comfortable wearing just PJs to bed and didn't need the velcro from the Sleep Sack, we started using these wearable blankets. The HALO are thick and great over a onesie. The Aden + Anais blankets are thin and work great over pjs. We actually didn't use these for very long because we keep our home pretty warm, but we still break them out every once in a while since H isn't crawling yet.
Evenflo Triple Fun Exersaucer: H loves this thing! WE put it together when she was about 4 months old and had to stuff blankets around her so she'd stay upright, but she loved it anyway! The music is fun, the toys turn on with movement, and it will turn into an activity table when she's ready to stand on her own.
Sassy Ring O-Foot Links: It's the simplest toy ever, but she loves these things so much. They don't make noise, they don't light up, they don't DO anything and they are ALWAYS our go-to toy. She shakes them, chews on them, throws them around and she can't get enough of them.
Boogie Wipes Saline Wipes: When H got her first cold at 5 months, it was a mess. Snot and mucus were everywhere, including all over her face. These wipes are gentile enough to use all the time and don't irritate H's nose. Don't get me wrong, cleaning a baby's face is like the WORST thing that's ever happened to them so there will be yelling, but it's only because they are sometimes drama queens, not because the wipes hurt ;) And make sure you get the grape scent!
OXO Tot Feeding Spoons: A friend recommended these and I'm so glad she did. The silicon spoon and the slanted shape are perfect for baby's first food. I received another set of generic plastic spoons and used those when I only had two OXO tot spoons clean and H wouldn't eat! I tried several times but she wasn't able to get all the food off the spoon the way she could with the OXO tot set. I've invested in several, including the travel spoon with case and they are awesome.
Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper: Like everything else, this was recommended from a friend. The first time I put H in this jumper at the friend's house, she knew how to jump and went crazy. We bought her one for Christmas and this has been our go-to activity every since. The toys are colorful, the springs are covered and the bottom is very sturdy. This one is a definite must if your child needs some extra entertainment.
Itzy Ritzy Shopping Cart & High Chair Cover: I'm a huge fan of this company and their products. This cover is thick, has loops for toys and straps to lock it to the cart or chair. And if you're into matching stuff (like me), you can choose a pattern and get everything in that pattern. The one we chose was Fresh Bloom.
Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier: We've only had this for about two months and I've already used it more times than I can count. H loves being worn and it's so nice to have both hands free when I go shopping or when we go to the park. She also naps when I wear her facing inward which is helpful depending on where we are. I foresee getting a ton more use out of this.
